About MDA Shield
Integral Federal is an awardee on the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
SHIELD is a 10-year, enterprise-wide contract vehicle designed to accelerate the delivery of innovative capabilities supporting the nation’s evolving missile defense mission. The vehicle provides MDA and authorized Department of War organizations with a flexible acquisition pathway for a broad range of mission requirements, from research and development through systems engineering, testing, modernization, cybersecurity, and sustainment.
Through SHIELD, Integral brings together systems engineering, digital modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and mission expertise to help customers address complex challenges and deliver capabilities that strengthen national defense.
The IDIQ Contracts include three (3) optional ordering periods for a total of ten years (10) if all options are exercised.
The ordering periods are as follows:
Base Ordering Period December 29, 2025 – December 28, 2028*
Optional Ordering Period 1 December 29, 2028 – December 28, 2030
Optional Ordering Period 2 December 29, 2030 – December 28, 2033
Optional Ordering Period 3 December 29, 2033 – December 28, 2035
